Just an hour from Marrakech, the Ourika Valley feels like another world — cool mountain air, riverside cafés and villages of red earth clinging to the hillsides.

You will visit a traditional Berber house for mint tea, walk to the Setti Fatma waterfalls and enjoy lunch by the river with views of the High Atlas peaks.

    Into the foothills

    Marrakech → Ourika Valley

    Pickup at 9:00 and a scenic drive south into the valley. We stop at a Berber family home to see how rural life works in the mountains, with bread baked in a clay oven and fresh mint tea.

    Setti Fatma waterfalls

    Setti Fatma village

    With a local mountain guide, you walk up a rocky trail to a series of waterfalls. The hike takes around 1.5 hours round trip and is moderate — good shoes are recommended. Afterwards, lunch at a riverside terrace.

    Return to Marrakech

    Ourika → Marrakech

    Optional stop at a saffron garden or argan cooperative, then return to Marrakech by late afternoon.
